What happens here on ‘Green Graphic Design’?
Explore and learn more about what it means to be a sustainable graphic designer and how one can make a positive impact on the planet through design. We focus on practical, real solutions and approaches.
The newsletter will cover:
Green Design Resources - This will focus on anything cool we come across relating to resources for green graphic design or sustainable packaging design.
Personal Reflections - On burnout, running a design studio, and more.
Inspiration: Some things relating to design or colours or life that I think are super cool, like plant-based dyes, inks, and mushroom pigments!
Climate News/Greenwashing De-Bunking - Progressive commentary on current events, cool things we’ve come across, and the occasional de-bunking of a popular greenwashed piece of information we come across that really grinds our gears. Probably the occasional book-rec too!
Other Content! I’m still experimenting with this little space here so there will other things that filter in/out!
Green Graphic Design Course
We have built and run a course dedicated to green graphic design. It’s built to encompass all of our research and knowledge for green design, taking you from a beginner level to a completely confident expert. The course is available year-round with coaching calls being launched 2-3x a year for all students past and present. The course features accessible pricing structures ($300 with a payment plan option that is the same price), community access, 12+ hours of lectures and 30+ hours of Q&A/detailed coaching call replays.
If you’re interested in joining, please join our course waitlist: we have temporarily closed the course during Autumn/Winter 2023 to refresh and relaunch it for January 2024. Joining the waitlist will also grant you a special coupon when it relaunches in thanks for your patience.
About Emma / Little Fox Design
Emma is the founder of Little Fox Design, a branding and packaging studio dedicated to environmentally-sustainable design. Emma’s early experience consisted of in-house visual design for a mixture of museums and nonprofits. Driven by a desire to have more control over environmental and ethical standards in her work, she decided to establish her own carbon-neutral studio. Since its founding in 2017, Little Fox has specialized in guiding clients across North America through the intricacies of sustainable design and ensuring their branding and messaging reflects their values. Most recently, Little Fox has been working with sustainable food and alternative protein startups. In late 2020, with her business partner, she created the Green Graphic Design Course to educate other designers on the technical details of sustainable design with the goal of normalizing sustainable printing and design practices in the industry.
